Connect with Fellow Entrepreneurs
The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council serves as the policy and systems-building arm of Rural Community Partners entrepreneurship work in Southeast Kansas. SBEC brings together entrepreneurs, lenders, service providers, and community leaders to strengthen the local small business ecosystem and remove barriers to business start-up, growth, and sustainability.
Small Business and Entrepreneurs Council
The Council helps shape regional entrepreneurship strategy, informs program design, and administers RCP's micro-grant program to ensure resources are aligned with real-world business needs. By identifying gaps, elevating local voice, and advancing collaborative solutions, SBEC supports policies, practices, and investments that create a more accessible, resilient, and inclusive rural economy.
